As you know this past weekend was Labor Day weekend. Since our camping trip we have been trying to get back into the swin of things. On Wednesday, September 9, Noah started at an in home day care 15 miutes from my office. The woman in charge wanted to meet him first, but I assured her that Noah likes everyone and he will have no time adjusting. On the first day Noah took one look at her and decided he did not want to be there. He literally tried to climb up me and wouldn't even look at the woman. He just burried his head in my shoulder.
These past three days have been very rough for him. I wake him up at 5:30 every morning, he goes to his day care, and at 12pm I show up during my lunch break. He stays awake from the time I drop him off in the morning until I show up at lunch. Noah will not take a nap for this woman....and to top it off he has 2 more teeth coming in on the bottom.
Noah is making some good adjustments though. This morning he stretched out his arms to the new nanny, which made me feel better about leaving him.
On a new note, Matt hit a home run for me at his game the other night (I wasn't there because I was at home with the baby.) The worst part about this week were the mice Riley found in our bedroom. I would hear squeaking, but I couldn't pin point where it was coming from until Riley found them in a box. I won't tell you what happened next, but I will tell you they used my winter clothes to make their nest. Hopefully we will have a better, uneventful, weekend!
